Three Principles

Three principles are involved in my relationship with Les Arts Gstaad:

1) The principle of holding a different opinion, and of expressing that opinion.

2) The principle of emphasising the ‘practical’ aspects of the design, its functions, not the beauty of its appearance, or of the sound in the auditorium.

3) The principle of representing the interests of the project, not the interests of the catering establishments in the vicinity.

And I had the grotesque notion, that there will be no orchestra pit, simply because I, ‘the enemy’, have been pleading for one, and have done so now for two years!!!
